Hi! I'm Peagreen, as you should know already, and I am a college student working toward an M.S. degree in Biology. I am fascinated by animals of all sorts, although I do have a minor phobia of flying and jumping insects and arachnids.

I hope to have a career working with or studying wild animals someday, particularly sea life.

I also really enjoy myths and legends, particularly those of animals. Naturally, this also leads to a fascination in cryptozoology.

In my gallery, you will find mostly things relating to my aforementioned interests, including bits and pieces of my story, Lifesong.

Sorry I haven't really been around here very much lately, if at all. The truth is, I've been so busy and stressed with school and life that I haven't been drawing anything worthwhile, and my attentions have been turned to other places and websites in my free time that require little thought or time to peruse. Don't get me wrong, I still love DeviantArt and I do visit to check on my messages every once and a while. I just noticed that I hadn't written a journal since April, and there is only one way to remedy this!!! :ohnoes: So welcome to summer, everyone! How's it going for all o' y'alls? It was all a bit crazy for me at first, but everything finally seems to be getting better for a while at least. :) To start with, I'm going to see Rock of Ages this Saturday, which I'm sooo excited for. It looks like a great show, and Constantine Maroulis is starring in it, apparently! Trolls and Pokemon

So I logged in today to see what shenanigans dA was up to on this wonderful April Fools' Day, only to find trolls. Trolls everywhere. :ohnoes: Now, don't get me wrong, I like trollface. It's just... I was kind of disappointed that they turned the whole "prank" into a sales gig. The prank itself was kind of disappointing, in my opinion. Rather than being a lighthearted joke, we are now subjected to what we now know are basically annoying pop-up ads all day.
